Brief Story Overview
Andromeda Ball is set in the year 2134 where robot fighting rings are common, but Andromeda Ball is the league standard. No weapons, no special powers, no augments; just pure skill. Contenders build up their reputations in other arenas to get a chance to be invited into this prestigious arena. Only the very best compete. The grand prize? You not only get to keep your robot, but they say when you win you’re set for life. Andromeda Ball isn’t without its drawbacks, however. If you lose, you’ll never be able to compete again.

Playable Bots!
The Prototype

Built by the founder of the games Maxwell Sion, the prototype appeared as the first controllable bot in the Andromeda Games. Quickly outclassed later by the next installments Firewall and Tek Chaser, the prototype paved the way for the Andromeda Games to grow in popularity. Maxwell Sion or more well known as "The Founder" used his profit to invest back into the Games and his own tech companies.

Ability 2- "Error-NOT FOUND"
Tek Chaser
Tek Chaser was made by billionaire Rez Snare. His inspiration came from the vintage show “Hawaii Five-O”. His hope for creating Tek Chaser was to make a bot that got up in your face much like the cast of villain characters in the show. Rez Snare received billions back on his investment into the Andromeda Games when his design became a viral sensation. Rez patented his design and reportedly opened Rez Tek to continue making new designs for the Andromeda Games.
Ability 1: Blink
TekChaser’s Blink functions similarly to Moira's blink in Overwatch. They will disappear and appear a set distance from where they started. During this time they are completely invulnerable to any dangers (The ball, enemy abilities, etc.)
Ability 2: Run-Way
TekChaser coats a part of the stage with a material that greatly boosts his movement speed and dash distance. The “Runway” will be a linear path that TekChaser can utilize to traverse the stage.
Firewall
Built by Json Sion, son of Maxwell Sion, Firewall took the Andromeda Games by storm. After Rez’s model proved too evasive for Maxwell’s prototype design, having the ability to utilize range to counter Tek Chaser’s mobility changed the game. It saved Andromeda Ball from becoming stale and allowed for more skill expression and hype with last-minute redirects. Json is a rather reclusive person, directly the opposite of the playboy Rez. Json said the design and name came from the test he had to complete for his father where he had to hack into his father's company in order to claim his spot as an heir to the company. The firewalls Json had to get through were some of the toughest he’s faced and he wanted to create a bot around that feeling.
Ability 1: Energy Wall
Firewall places an orange-yellow wall that can block a single hit from the ball. It lasts 1.5 seconds and the cooldown begins as soon as the ability is executed.
Ability 2: Photon Disc
Firewall throws a dark grayish cd disk projectile with a glowing red ring in the middle of it. It travels for a few seconds and is destroyed when it collides with the ball, redirecting the ball in the process.

Manos
Manos was born from the deal gone south to sell The Andromeda Games and all its rights to the biggest name in tech, Studios. After the offer was declined when Andromeda Ball soared in viewership Studios developed Manos with new technology they had just created. There are many rumors circulating Manos' entry into the games, including one that Studios plans to use Manos to take The Andromeda Games down. While this was never confirmed, one thing is known for sure... no one breaks a deal with Studios.

Ability 1: Grand Slam
Grand Slam is very similar to the basic attack, though it has extra range compared to the normal basic attack. If the ability is just pressed it is essentially a basic attack with a slightly longer range. However, holding the ability button will cause the ability to “Charge” in power. As the player continues to hold the button, the ability will continue to charge. The player can let go of the ability button at any point to release it, letting off a powerful attack! The longer the ability is held, the more force it applies to the ball when it is released (There is a max). While charging, movement speed is reduced slightly.
Ability 2 - Target Tracer
Target Tracer empowers your next Basic attack for 4 seconds. When you hit the ball with your next basic attack, the ball will begin to move toward the other player.
When hit, the ball will follow the player until it reaches a certain radius around the player. When it reaches that radius it will continue moving in the direction when it entered the radius and the normal ball loop will continue. This gives the player enough time to react making sure the ability has counterplay.
Reverb
Reverb is said to be theorized by an overzealous demolitions expert. The idea was then sold to the military before falling into the hands of the Andromeda Games. After Reverb single-handedly almost destroyed an arena the announcer of the games went on record to say "Reverb is completely safe and no accidents will happen again. Just watch where you step and you'll be fine."
Ability 1: Live Wire
Reverb places a sonic mine which they can detonate at any time. The mine has a max time limit before it goes off but it can be activated any time before then. The cooldown starts once the explosion is finished
Ability 2: Faze Shot
Reverb vibrates its body quickly so that the ball is stuck in stasis. This starts a countdown of 3 seconds where Reverb can hit the ball before it sheds the stasis. The ball can be shot anywhere between immediately and the 3-second timer. The other player acts normal during this ability being activated and can hit the ball themselves. The ball can also be shot into mines for extra playmaking capabilities.
